NVMTA News

NVMTA is now the proud owner of a 2000 Steinway D, which was originally selected for Steinway’s exclusive Concert & Artist Program. The piano and a beautiful Steinway bench and cover were delivered smoothly on Thursday, July 25, to United Christian Parish in Reston. Members who wish to feature this grand piano on studio recitals should contact liaison John Kaboff about potential recital dates. Teaching Individuals with ADHD: Using Evidence-Based Psychological Science to Inform Music Instruction

A Zoom Link will be sent to members

Dr. Laura Wager will review the scientific research on Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) as well as identify common myths associated with ADHD. Strategies for helping students with ADHD learn to play the piano and enjoy music-making will be explored.
