Symphony of the Potomac is gearing up for an exciting new season featuring Beethoven symphonies alongside an all-Russian program and works by Dvořák. We’re currently holding open auditions for all strings and French horn.
We welcome musicians of all levels, and are especially excited to hear from eager non-professional players — including students — looking to grow their skills in an orchestral setting.
Audition dates: September 1 & 3, 7:00 PM
Location: Our rehearsal space in Montgomery County, MD
To prepare, bring two contrasting pieces: one lyrical, one technical. Can’t make these dates? We hold rolling auditions throughout the year.

To help defray expenses, the orchestra charges annual member dues of $100. If this creates a financial burden, the personnel manager will work with you to figure out a solution.
