SUMMARY:NVMTA Piano Lecture Series
DESCRIPTION:Our upcoming Piano Masterclass will be with the wonderful Nancy O’Neill Breth! Nancy is a cornerstone of our Northern Virginia and Washington\, D.C. piano community\, bringing a wealth of wisdom from her studies with legendary mentors like György Sebők\, Margaret Saunders Ott\, Béla Nagy\, and Rudolf Kolisch. Beyond her background\, Nancy is well-loved for her contributions to our field\, including her books Practicing the Piano and The Piano Student’s Guide to Effective Practicing (Hal Leonard Corp.)\, alongside her incredible leadership with MTNA and her tireless work curating resources for teachers. \nThe Masterclass will take place on October 10th at 10:00 am ET at Jordan Kitts(8500 US-29\, Fairfax\, VA 22031)\, and it will also be live-streamed through Zoom for those joining us remotely. The Zoom link will be sent out on the day of the event. \nWe are in for such a treat. For the masterclass\, we have an extraordinary group of elite performers stepping up to the stage\, prepared by some of our region’s most dedicated and accomplished teachers.
