Each student will receive a written evaluation and a certificate of participation. Students will accumulate points based on their individual ratings that go towards trophy awards.  These points are registered in a national database and can apply to Federation Festivals nationwide. \nOur festival includes piano\, vocal\, strings\, and theory events. Events include solo\, duet\, and concerto formats. Theory is a written exam. Other woodwind family instruments may be included if minimum registration numbers are met. \nFees\nStudent fees: $25.00 per student\, per event. Registration fees must be paid by January 15\, 2026. \n\nPlease note:  In order to register students\, the teacher must federate their studio as a Junior Club with the Virginia Federation of Music Clubs by October 20\, 2025.  The Junior Club dues are $35 for up to 16 students\, +$1 for each additional student. After October 20\, 2025\, a late fee of $25 will apply. The VFMC State Treasurer will NOT accept Junior Club dues postmarked after November 14\, 2025.\nNVMTA membership must be up-to-date.
