The original competition date of January 24th and 25th was snowed out with blizzard conditions. The competition was rescheduled and took place over two consecutive weekends. Levels 4 and 5 were held on Sunday, January 31, 2016 from 9:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. at the Steinway Gallery in North Bethesda. The judges for Sunday were Lynne MacKey, Eva Mengelkoch, and Paulo Steinberg.
Levels 1-3 of the competition were held on Saturday, February 6th from 9:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. at the Woman’s Club of Arlington. Judges for Saturday were Lynne MacKey, Emily Yap Chua, and Gregory Brown. A total of 53 students participated in all levels.
